Aren't names stored for parameters passed by reference? If so, it would be
easy to extend the syntax to
wddx_serialize(&$a, $b, "notb");
resulting in
<var name='a'> value of $a </var>
<var name='notb'> value of $b </var>
This would kill the other problem (not being able to use different namings for
PHP3/WDDX variables without using an associative array).
