Just an addendum:
The line in phpinfo() is created directly from the command
line without any filtering or other magic going on.
The cause of this is definitely related to passing --with-ftp
to the configure script.
The ftp extension was changed to use --enable instead of
--with a couple of months ago, before PHP 4.0.2 was released.
