Well - for anyone else who sees this problem in particular - it came down to one serious problem on my machine - it seems the GD and Freetype libraries on the HPUX porting site are _broken_. The test programs seem to run, but half the symbols in the libraries are simply missing - a build of them both from source sorted the problem out instantly (almost, I did have to kludge the dlopen code ;-) ). james On Mon, 16 Oct 2000 23:55:48 +0100 (BST) James Greenhalgh <james@xenon.ptel.co.uk> wrote: > Has anyone managed to get PHP working (with GD library support) on HP-UX > 11.00?
