are you using the cgi via commandline and apache, or are you using the apache module?
also a short reproducing script would be really helpfull...

Works fine from command line,
but running it from apache causing the invalid page fault.
This problem was reportedly fixed in 4.0.3, but not with my configuration apparentely.
