Sure. The new INI framework by Zeev is now fortunately
thread-safe.

You need to apply each change on each request. PHP restores
the original settings on request shutdown.
For an example, you might want to take a look at
sapi/apache2filter/apache_config.c:apply_config().

I don't know how Roxen/Caudium handles configurations, but if
it is similar to Apache, then it should be quite easy to add.
