PHP 4.0 Bug #7676: session_register doesn't save classes anymore!

From: pmjo@saunalahti.fi Operating system: Linux PHP version: 4.0.3pl1 PHP Bug Type: *General Issues Bug description: session_register doesn't save classes anymore! My problem is: I have made a web shop. It stores ShoppingCart class in sessions. (using session_register) Before I used php 4.0 and it worked fine. Now I upgraded to 4.0.3pl1 and the shoppingcart will not be saved anymore. (to the session file) Is this a bug or should session_register only work with variables and arrays ? not with classes ?
