Has anyone thought about making a dev.php.net? There is a lot of
information floating around about PHP development, and having a central
place for it would be nice.
A side effect is that we could move the CVS account request form to the
new site, which should cut down on the number of unnecessary requests. The
developer site would quite clearly be about development of C code and
documentation, not about writing PHP code.
I think that it would complement the existing web sites nicely, as the
progression would be:
dev.php.net -> qa.php.net -> www.php.net
and it would give people interested in participating in PHP development an
easy place to start.
