Exactly. There isn't one, anymore so than a "spanish flag". There are
flags for english-speaking nations, for spanish speaking nations,
french-speaking nations, etc.

Well, my point was to question the sorting of languages (which
are multi-national) by nations (which are most defnitely not).
In particular, sorting by national flag icons. It and fr are very, very,
close, image wise. Same with hu and nl. With multi-national languages
a web user may not recognize the Spanish flag, (as they live
in a south american nation), so they have to click and guess,
rather than read "Español, Francaîs, Deutsch," etc., or use a
dropdown that lists the languages....
Which leads me to another nagging question. The buttons for contents,
up, quick ref... all english?
