The configure script sets in php_config.h:
#define HAVE_FLOCK 1
for solaris 2.7
After much messing about, and admitting some kind of locking does exist in
the BSD compat libs, I have to say the only way I have been able to get php
to compile on solaris is to edit config.h to:
#undef HAVE_FLOCK
and edit configure.sh (or whatever) to stop rebuilding php_config.h
This is slightly the wrong way to go about it, could we have whatever
decides to define this for solaris decide not to after all, please.
Sam
