Why has this been updated from "duplicate" to "bogus". Unless you've closed/moved to bogus bug #6671 (of which this is effectively a duplicate), then it should remain "duplicate". Or am i missing the point? Having spotted #6175, I now see there's a workaround (move xml functs out of constructor), but for some reason missed that before. suggest you tie together #6175 and #6671 - they are effectively duplicates, and #6671 gives the "short script" required by #6175's notes. will let you know if anything helps. Best Tim [PS - is this the right way of challenging a status change? - apologies if not - there was not suggestion on the site, and I just replied to the status-change email] > -----Original Message----- > From: Bug Database [mailto:php-dev@lists.php.net] > Sent: Wednesday, 29 November 2000 12:10 > To: tim.diggins@teamworks.co.uk > Subject: PHP 4.0 Bug #6955 Updated: Usint XML parser in a class does not > work any longer [ref Bug id #6671] > > > ID: 6955 > Updated by: sniper > Reported By: tim.diggins@teamworks.co.uk > Status: Bogus > Bug Type: *XML functions > Assigned To: > Comments: > > > > Previous Comments: > ------------------------------------------------------------------ > --------- > > [2000-09-29 23:03:57] tim.diggins@teamworks.co.uk > This is also true for PHP 4.0.2 running as ISAPI under > Win98/ed1/PWS. definitely a 4.0.2/4.0.1pl2 diff. > > [sorry about the multiple number of bug reports, but thought the > info was useful. apologies if not.] > > ------------------------------------------------------------------ > --------- > > > Full Bug description available at: http://bugs.php.net/?id=6955
