I've recently discovered a problem with compilation of shared modules on
Solaris. The problem is that configure oftely uses lines like:
PHP_IMAP=
echo $ac_n "$PHP_IMAP$ac_c"|sed s/^shared,//
which becomes something like:
PHP_IMAP=echo -n shared,/foo/bar/imap|sed s/^shared,//
The problem is that standard Solaris sed (/usr/bin/sed, /usr/ucb/sed) does
not like lines which don't end in newline, and PHP_IMAP becomes
empty. /usr//xpg4/bin/sed behaves better (gives a warning, but
works). Anybody know how the problem can be fixed? The unpleasant thing is
that I also cannot set sed command to use, so I should start messing with
symlinks if I want it to work...
