I'd very much prefer that the only changes between the final
RC and the release tarball are the version number and the
inserted release date. Otherwise, testing the final RC
becomes pointless and we have an infinite number of ways to
break the release.
If you guys feel that these patches (two so far) are
absolutely necessary for the release to continue, I'll roll
another RC and the whole QA process will start from zero.
(Hint: I'd prefer not to do that. :-)
