[2000-12-18 00:50:21] biesas@prontomail.com
We have IIS 4.0, Win NT 4.0 SP6 and Oracle 8.0.5 client running on first server and Oracle 8.0.5
database on second.
We have no problems connecting from first server to Oracle using SvrMgr30 or SqlPlus, but from PHP
when doing OCILogon() we always get "Warning: Oracle: Connection Failed: ORA-12203: TNS:unable
to connect to destination". The same goes
and to ora_logon().
To check if Oracle configuration is OK we compiled example which comes with Oracle (cdemo81.c) and
it connects without any problems.
Regards, Vytautas
