When I tried to load a dl library, I received such message : Warning: Calendar: Unable to initialize module Module compiled with debug=4, thread-safety=169 module API=1078765824 PHP compiled with debug=0, thread-safety=0 module API=20000809 These options need to match in /opt/WP/htdocs/endecodetest.php on line 3 I use PHP Version 4.0.2 as a module in Apache/1.3.9 (release 10309100, Apache API Version 19990320). I have troubles with using any library from the directory dl/, First of all the script 'setup' does not work correctly (the last line with 'sed' command is bad). But I've made Makefile, where, instead of @CC@ and @LD@ I've put: CC = gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I../. -I/usr/php/. -I../Zend -D_REENTRANT -g -Wall LD = gcc -shared -L/usr/local/lib -rdynamic The compilation process goes OK, but after restarting apache the described problems occure. I'm a beginer at developing php, but much experienced in c/c++ programming. So my ambition is to extend dynamically linked libraries by new, usefull functions. I have some code, which worked on php3 (for example uuencode and uudecode functions) but I can't adaptate it to the new version of php. Could anybody help me ?
