I confirm again this bug. It's still in th current 3.0.7-dev.
<?
$test = "value = j";
$test = eregi_replace (" = .*", " = ü", $test);
echo $test;
?>
Produces the correct output ("value = ü").
<?
$test = "value = ü";
$test = eregi_replace (" = .*", " = ü", $test);
echo $test;
?>
Produces "value = üü".
I'm using the bundled regex library. As already mentioned, I've tested this
under NT and Linux, it works fine there.

Tobias
