Operating system: Linux 2.2.1
PHP version: 3.0.6
PHP Bug Type: Misbehaving function
Bug description: fsockopen leaves socket open
When fsockopen() cannot connect (e.g., to UNIX socket) it does not
close the opened socked on return.
I discovered this behaviour using the netstat command.
I have inserted 'close(socketd);' line as line 185 in fsock.c (PHP 3.0.6)
and it didn't leave open sockets anymore.
(I just briefly looked at the source code of 3.0.7 and the bug's there too)
