Yes, currently the only problem I have fixed is the multi-line issue, but that is not what I am talking about. get_meta_tags returns an associative array where the value of the NAME attribute of the meta tag becomes the key, and the value of the CONTENTS attribute becomes the value. I am proposing totally changing the return value to a multi-dimensional array that contains every recognized (by W3C) attribute in the META tag. I will send a message to php-general and see what type of response I get.
