thanks for your reply, I'll have to check this (even I also don't have a
w2k-machine:).
I only know that untill PHP404PL1 the readme.txt explicitly stated to
copy the php4ts.dll into the system-dir, and also the install.txt for 405
stated that "the dlls" should be copied (406 doesn't count since it's
out of the manual).
I can't remember if I only was always a "good boy" and did it as stated,
or if it was really necessary (but I'll test it till/at the weekend on NT and
Win98).
