Hi. As some of you might be knowing, we are involved in porting PHP onto
NetWare.
We've built the mod_php NLM (executable) and it loads on the NetWare
server via Apache. But when we request for a script to be executed, it
abends (crashes) the server.
Specifically, it abends because, in the get_module_config call inside
send_php (in mod_php4.c), the pointer to the per_dir_config member in
the request_rec structure is either null or invalid. We're neither
familiar with Apache nor with modules; but we found that this
configuration info might be getting created in the php_create_dir
function. In there, the structure creation seems to be happening
properly.
Any ideas on why Apache would be sending a request record with an
improper per_dir_config pointer? Any one knows what is the sequence of
calls that happens when a module is loaded by Apache and when a request
is serviced?
Thanx in advance,
Venkat
