can't answer 1 and 2 but 3)

use $node->tagname() instead of $node->name
use $node->content() instead of $node->content (works only with php
from cvs or next release)

(1)  domxml_unlink_node no longer works.  Parameter must be void.

(2)  domxml_node_unlink_node does not work.

(3)  All of my code which used the name or contents attributes of nodes
is now dead
