ID: 15173 Comment by: Ray_Cherry@adp.com Reported By: Ray_Cherry@adp.com Status: Bogus Bug Type: DOM XML related Operating System: NT PHP Version: 4.1.1 New Comment: Thanks for the responses, but they do not help: (1) chregu: DomNode does not have a function content() in 4.1.1 - how do I get next release? There is a function called node_value, but it does NOT work. I looked at the source in 4.1 for node_value (4.1.1 "source" is a bunch of html files) and it looks OK, but requires object to have content property which does not appear to get set. (2) yohgaki: Documentation at php.net does NOT agree with 4.1.1. I realize that DOMXML is experimental: May I suggest that the 4.06 experiment worked, but that the 4.1.1 experiment is having problems. Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-01-22 20:14:21] yohgaki@php.net DOM XML is experimental extension. It has been changed a lot including API :) Please read manual for more information. (I hope it's in manual) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-01-22 19:06:41] chregu@php.net can't answer 1 and 2 but 3) use $node->tagname() instead of $node->name use $node->content() instead of $node->content (works only with php from cvs or next release) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-01-22 15:01:43] Ray_Cherry@adp.com (1) domxml_unlink_node no longer works. Parameter must be void. (2) domxml_node_unlink_node does not work. (3) All of my code which used the name or contents attributes of nodes is now dead ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=15173&edit=1
