On my system nearly all .la files contain -L/usr/lib in the dependency_libs line ... $ grep dependency_libs /usr/lib/*.la|grep -- '-L/usr/lib '|wc -l 138 Or am I missing some specific point? -- Please always Cc to me when replying to me on the lists.
