Inserting sleep(3) at various places in the bug demonstration code
doesn't help.
Also: Watch how the number of ESTABLISHED (or - after a while:
CLOSE_WAIT) connections increase when the bug demonstration page is
reloaded.
(The bug demonstration page is at
http://www.fsr.ku.dk/people/troels/socket/)
Applying
http://cvs.php.net/cvsweb.cgi/functions/fsock.c.diff?r1=1.123&r2=1.124
doesn't help, either.
I'll try installing a PHP version based on a complete CVS checkout.
