I'm sure its possible but you may need to tap into the zend engine. But whats
wrong with calling a simple function
<?=country_combobox()?>
or you can do something like this with defines
include.php
<?
define(country_combobox, "<select></select>");
?>
<?=country_combobox?>
You really don't gain much by doing it
<country-combobox /> vs <?=country_combobox?>
