yes, an empty include/php_iconv_supports_errno.h should be created at
the first point of the configure script, so if there does not exist one,
something should be wrong...
BTW, iconv could causes another (trivial) problem.
1) ./configure --with-iconv;make;
[changing mind...]
2) make distclean;./configure;make
second "make" causes a following error:
ext/standard/info.o: In function `php_print_info':
/home/masaki-f/cvs/php4/ext/standard/info.c:233: undefined reference to `iconv_globals'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
this may be because "make distclean" does not clear the value of
include/php_have_iconv.h. but, i do not have karma to fix this:(
