It seems Zeev has already changed code.
I think both options are correct at this time.
For the record, before PHP 4.2.0, --enable-trans-sid
is required to enable trans sid. From PHP 4.2.0, the
option is removed and suddenly all PHP builds are
start using trans sid by default.
We should have been set it default to off in code &
php.ini in the first place ;)
