Just an FYI
Ok, I have committed the change from "ld -Bshareable" to "gcc -shared" to
the Apache CVS tree for fbsd2,3,4 and linux2 systems. It doesn't look
like Solaris needs this change, nor does AIX. And I don't have access to
test other operating systems so I am not going to touch those.
I also fixed apxs to automatically detect whether gcc or ld is being used
to link and it now does the right thing with the -Wl args.
Apache-1.3.7 is scheduled to be released by the end of July.
