I've just found out a serious bug with the patch I've posted tonight.
It dumps core if you cannot connect to database. I've corrected the
problem but the code's dirty (busy on some project), so I don't post it
yet.
If you're interested in the patch, tell me - maybe it'll encourage me to
rewrite it cleanly.
If you want to correct it yourself, here's a hint - the function
php3_sybase_error_handler gets NULL as dbproc, which was not checked
by me...
