Operating system: (RedHat 6) Linux 2.2.10
PHP version: 3.0.12
PHP Bug Type: MySQL related
Bug description: PHP dies (segfaults) on successful mysql_connect
phpMyAdmin as well as many of my scripts die on successful mysql_pconnect() or mysql_connect().
Funny thing is that if I supply wrong username or password I get the correct error message.
The system is fresh install of RedHat Linux 6.0 with Apache 1.3.6 and MySQL 3.22.25.
