Operating system: Redhat 4.2 with MAJOR upgrades
PHP version: 3.0.12
PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure
Bug description: Compile bombs with an "ld" failure...
I'm running a RedHat 4.2 system with extensive upgrades to the kernel (2.2.10), and GCC (2.95),
and running
glibc 1, and the mysql 3.22.25 binary distribution installed on my machine. When I try to compile, I
get no warning messages at all up until the link stage, at which point I get:
gcc -c -I./os/unix -I./include -DLINUX=2 -DUSE_HSREGEX
./apaci buildmark.c
gcc -DLINUX=2 -DUSE_HSREGEX ./apaci \
-o httpd buildmark.o modules.o modules/standard/libstandard.a modules/php3/libphp3.a
main/libmain.a ./os/unix/libos.a ap/libap.a regex/libregex.a -Wl,-rpath,/usr/lib/mysql
-L/usr/lib/mysql -lmysqlclient -Lmodules/php3 -L../modules/php3 -L../../modules/php3 -lmodphp3
-lpam -lm -ldl -lm -lgdbm
