SEPARATE_ZVAL is included in the Zend library, and is most definitely a part of Beta 2. Perhaps you're using CVS and haven't updated your libzend directory? Please supply the exact error message you're getting and the gcc line that causes it. I noticed this is a new macro in PHP4, and couldn't find it in any of the header files. So I cannot install the module to Apache until that macro is found somewhere.
