Edit report at https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=66665&edit=1 ID: 66665 User updated by: steve dot putala at gmail dot com Reported by: steve dot putala at gmail dot com Summary: typo in function parameters for class_alias Status: Open Type: Documentation Problem Package: Documentation problem PHP Version: Irrelevant Block user comment: N Private report: N New Comment: I don't believe you can drop the "to". I just thought about class_exists, and think it both sounds better and fosters consistency to mimic the class_exists wording: "Whether or not to call __autoload by default if the original class is not found." Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2014-02-07 19:33:23] dereckson at espace-win dot org Does "Whether to do autoload if the ..." seem correct to you? If so, I'm not sure it's grammatically wrong to drop the to and write "Whether do autoload if the ...". ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2014-02-07 19:11:06] steve dot putala at gmail dot com Sorry, I mistakenly called class_alias as class instead of a function ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2014-02-07 19:09:55] steve dot putala at gmail dot com Description: ------------ --- From manual page: http://www.php.net/function.class-alias --- Under Parameters -> Autoload the description should read "Whether to autoload if the original class is not found." The second word "do" is wrong in the documentation. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=66665&edit=1
