Apcu actually _is_ a drop-in replacement, it was just not working because the debian package is
broken.

Also, the README claims it is a "drop-in replacement" to APC (as far as user cache is
concerned).
Drop-in replacement needs code written to work with APC should work out of the box, and that's
not true. The fuction apc_fetch(), just to name one, does not exist. Perhaps it's just a matter
of renaming every apc_whatever to apcu_whatever, but that's not a "drop-in"
replacement at all.
