Ah, thanks! I get your point, but I'm not quite sure if we should
change that (it is technically not wrong to refer to RFC 2822),
and there actually is DateTimeInterface::RFC2822/DATE_RFC2822
which we cannot rename for BC reasons.

The documentation I was referring to has been moved to
https://www.php.net/manual/en/datetime.format.php
In it, the description for the ârâ format code says:
» RFC 2822 formatted date
RFC 2822 has been obsoleted by RFC 5322:

The documentation on the date() function at https://www.php.net/manual/en/function.date
describes the code as for an RFC2822 formatted date.
This is pedantic, I know, but RFC2822 has long been obsoleted by RFC5322.
