From: sekiguchi328 at yahoo dot co dot jp Operating system: N/A PHP version: Irrelevant PHP Bug Type: Translation problem Bug description: A wrong Japanese translation regarding "static" keyword Description: ------------ The page for the "static keyword" in the Japanese translation of the PHP reference manual, available on http://jp.php.net/manual/ja/language.oop5.static.php contains a wrong text. The English text "A member declared as static can not be accessed with an instantiated class object (though a static method can)." is currently translated as "static ‚ȃƒ“ƒo‚́AƒCƒ“ƒXƒ^ƒ“ƒX‰»‚³‚ꂽƒNƒ‰ƒXƒIƒuƒWƒFƒNƒg‚©‚çƒAƒNƒZƒX‚·‚邱‚Ƃ͂ł«‚Ü‚¹‚ñ (static ‚ȃƒ\ƒbƒh‚©‚ç‚͉”\‚Å‚·) B", and is false. (The current Japanese text reads something like: An instantiated class object can't access to a member declared as static. (Though static methods can access [to the member declared as static].)) Reproduce code: --------------- Access to http://jp.php.net/manual/ja/language.oop5.static.php and read the first paragraph. Expected result: ---------------- A suggested Japanese text is: "static ‚Æ‚µ‚Đ錾‚³‚ꂽƒƒ“ƒo‚ɁAƒCƒ“ƒXƒ^ƒ“ƒX‰»‚³‚ꂽƒNƒ‰ƒXƒIƒuƒWƒFƒNƒg‚ð‰î‚µ‚ăAƒNƒZƒX‚·‚邱‚Ƃ͂ł«‚Ü‚¹‚ñ (static ‚ȃƒ\ƒbƒh‚ɂ̓AƒNƒZƒX‚Å‚«‚Ü‚·)B -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=48144&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 5.2): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=trysnapshot52 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 5.3): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=trysnapshot53 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 6.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=trysnapshot60 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=fixedcvs Fixed in CVS and need be documented: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=needdocs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=globals PHP 4 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=php4 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=48144&r=mysqlcfg
