From: Operating system: linux PHP version: 5.2.13 Package: Documentation problem Bug Type: Documentation Problem Bug description:ldap_connect using host like ldaps://... ignores port parameter Description: ------------ Actually I am running PHP 5.2.12 Sorry for the noise if this has been addressed. ldap_connect can accept a host name and a port number. When the host name is specified via ldaps://hostnamehere/ then the port number given as a parameter will be ignored. The workaround is easy: ldaps://hostnamehere:portnumber works.
