Edit report at http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=54331&edit=1 ID: 54331 Updated by: aharvey@php.net Reported by: portalpress dot org at gmail dot com Summary: Language construct functions -Status: Open +Status: Bogus Type: Documentation Problem -Package: Website problem +Package: Documentation problem Operating System: Irrelevant PHP Version: Irrelevant Block user comment: N Private report: N New Comment: I believe you're looking for http://php.net/manual/en/reserved.keywords.php Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2011-03-21 08:58:42] portalpress dot org at gmail dot com Description: ------------ Many times I read 'this is a language construct and not a function', but there is no list of all the language constructs on php.net. Sometimes I need to use language constructs dynamically and I am sure, more people would like to see a complete list of the language constructs on php.net. For example, I have a timer function, which executes one function and after a while, with negative result, executes another. I had to make a pf_exit($exit_code) function as it is also a language construct http://nl2.php.net/manual/en/function.exit.php Test script: --------------- /* Example functions for language constructs */ function pf_exit($exit_code) { exit($exit_code); } function pf_echo($to_echo) { echo $to_echo; } ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=54331&edit=1
