Thanks A.Harvey, but I still feel, this is a documentation problem as
there is no link to the reserved keywords whenever php.net uses the term
language construct. I did a Google on 'language construct', not on
'reserved keywords', as I didn't know to search for that. It would not
even be half an hour work to include a link to
http://php.net/manual/en/reserved.keywords.php
at die() echo() empty() exit() eval()
include() include_once() isset() list() require()
require_once() return() print() and unset(). But again, thanks anyway.
Igor

I believe you're looking for
http://php.net/manual/en/reserved.keywords.php

Description:
------------
Many times I read 'this is a language construct and not a function', but
there is no list of all the language constructs on php.net. Sometimes I
need to use language constructs dynamically and I am sure, more people
would like to see a complete list of the language constructs on php.net.
For example, I have a timer function, which executes one function and
after a while, with negative result, executes another. I had to make a
pf_exit($exit_code) function as it is also a language construct
http://nl2.php.net/manual/en/function.exit.php
Test script:
---------------
/* Example functions for language constructs */
function pf_exit($exit_code) {
exit($exit_code);
}
function pf_echo($to_echo) {
echo $to_echo;
}
