However, on the "Description of core php.ini directives" page (http://php.net/manual/en/ini.core.php), the changelog for gpc_order is blank, and the description (http://php.net/manual/en/ini.core.php#ini.gpc-order) mentions nothing about the directive being deprecated/removed (in fact, quite the opposite).
