This looks wrong to me, this little silly quirk doesn't deserve it's own example, maybe a <note>. After looking at the current docs I think this should simply be an added sentence to what already exists there. That said, this bug should turn into a feature request for decrement of 'b' to work as opposed to being closed. What sense does it make to go one way and not the other?
