I'm trying to generate a phpweb manual of the ar version to see how it's going to look like but it seems there's something wrong or it takes a heck very long time.
I started it on my (1.7Ghz Celeron, Red Hat box) 5 hours ago but until now it's still displaying messages like:
/usr/local/bin/openjade:././dsssl/docbook/html/../common/dbl10n.dsl:321:12:E: L10N ERROR: gentext-element-name: ar (warning)
Seems like you have a similar problem to the "he" group with DSSSL. There does
not seem to be any Arabic customisations in the DSSSL (and in the XSL) sheets.
Doh.
many of the php files have been created in the php directory but still many important files are missing (such as index.php, shared-manual.inc etc)
index.php is the very last file to be created, shared-manual.inc is not created
at all even if everything goes well...
ps: I noticed that the online generation for the ar version http://www.php.net/manual/ar/ still have errors and it fails.. how can I fix it?
Hm, you need to translate the text snippets to your language. You need to ask on
the docbook-apps mailing list for an actual base file to translate. It is not too
complicated, and not too big, but it needs to be done to have support in the DocBook
sheets for Arabic. These are things like "Table", "Figure" to translate. Those
automatically generated texts in the docs. The error message you quoted says that
it is unable to generate some text for the warning tag.
