I've tried installing openjade via cywgin one month ago and it didn't work well. From what I remember it generated a lot of problems with the encodings.

Hm, how come that the windows openjade work better? Is that a newer version?

I'm not using openjade, but jade instead (as mentioned in the howto). Nuno
