I want to compile the PHP manual for use with the Vim text editor,
to make plugins for context help, autocomplete and such (I know that
there is a vimdoc version already, but want a more complete one). I
wish to use the XML sources for that, but CVS is rather unfriendly,
especially when sitting behind a firewall. And the great number of
files download very long.
Is there a snapshot (tarball/zip) of the docs source tree? If it is,
a link on the http://www.php.net/download-docs.php would help
others
who need just the files. If not, I suppose it would be good to make
one sometimes. It may be made quite rarely as most of docs seem to
not change often (or do they?).
