Hi Stelian,
if I am not mistaken 0-9-1 is actually the protocol version. both the PECL ext. and librabbitmq-c
are build for that protocol version. v0.4.1 is the librabbitmq-c version witch is still 0-9-1
protocol compatible.
But it really makes sense to contact the lead developer and make sure that this is the case. I’ll
try to contact him and will let you guys know.
😊

Hello,
I looked into this a while back and the PHP extension for AMQP was not working properly with
librabbitmq (it required version 0.9.1). Right now the C extension for the protocol changed its
versioning scheme entirely and it does not seem like the PECL extension was adjusted for that.
Granted I did not try to use the extension for the last few months, but getting in contact with the
lead developer for the package and making sure it is still supported might be a good first step.

Hello 😊
Specifically I intent to improve AMQP docs, some methods are out of date or have almost no
information.
The first patch (attached) fixes the instalation instructions for rabbitmq-c. According to the
instructions provided by the author https://github.com/alanxz/rabbitmq-c/ (recently I
tried the method that is in the current documentation but it did not work)

What did you have in mind, specifically? Any patches you could
work up for us to show the areas you hope to improve from the
existing?
(Extra credit: we still use SVN for the docs, so submitting
ready-to-go patch examples will certainly help prove your case.
Otherwise, to jump right in, check out https://edit.php.net/.)
