This file doesn't seem to be have been used for a long long time. In fact, I didn't even know about it when I was shuffling things around (DSSL->XSLT) in January 2007.. Effectively breaking the referenced translation.dtd - I've never heard complaints about that. So, should we request translations mantainers to update their files? doc.php.net was rewritten so it would be nice to make its tools realy useful by providing them necessary data.
The DTD says "vcs" is correct, but that was changed February 2011 from "vcs", probably without updating all the translations. Should we update DTD then?
There are three scripts that reference this file: ./scripts/check-trans-maint.php ./scripts/cvs2svn_revchange.php ./scripts/revcheck.php Only revcheck.php actually uses it, and it references the "vcs" attribute to determine how to color the contributor (e.g. old or new contributor?) Could you post link to the script you are talking about? If revcheck.php uses "vcs" I will update rev.php from web-doc to use the same variable and update all flies.
