One note for the future (related to simplyfing whole process).
I think that after migration process we should create new tutorial for newcomers covering managing original and translating manual.
Currently we have at least two separated documents:
- doc.php.net/dochowto/
- wiki.php.net/doc/
In my opinion there won't be a big problem to merge them into one tutorial. Also, I think that whole contribution it's not so complicated as it might look for the beginners. We could i.e. cover everything with step by step guides. Some parts are common - cloning git repo, guidelines, validating build, pull requests etc. Only few aspects should be discussed separately - upgrading translation, so checking differences between original and current version and maybe something else...
Any thoughts?
