Hi All
A couple of usability tweaks that I think could do with being applied
to the OE that I imagine Yannick (or someone else) could action more
easily than I could:
- When I go to commit a patch from the pending list, a commit message
is pre-populated as entered by the person who created the patch. When
*I* create a patch from the WIP list and go to commit it, the message
I enter is not pre-populated. It would be good if one or both of these
changes were made:
- I can commit directly from the WIP list
- The message I enter when creating a patch from the WIP list is
carried across to the commit screen from the pending list.
- I cannot see the email address entered by anonymous users when they
signed in from the WIP list. This means that when I commit changes
that have been left in the WIP list by users who don't realise that
the "save" button is not the end of the process (this seems to happen
a lot) I cannot provide proper attribution in the commit message, as
happens with the auto generated commit messages.
I'll try and figure out how to patch these myself at some point but if
anyone who knows the codebase already has time to fix these it would
be appreciated.
No rush, obviously, just wanted to highlight these issues :-)
Thanks, Chris
