That wouldn't solve the problem with the duplicate ID errors, though. Anyhow, I've already filed bug #69753, but I'm unsure if there should be workaround done in the configure script. Most certainly, the issue affects only few users (Windows with current libxml2), and after all it's only an additional warning that is raised, if there is actually an error in the XML. -- Christoph M.
