How is the workflow for maintainers different than before? The feedback
I got was that you have to download the patch from edit.php.net and
apply it locally to your repo and then push the changes to SVN.
Apart from that – as nikita already said – there can be toolage created
to automate a lot of it. PRs welcome!

The idea would be to have the maintainers added to the github repo as
maintainers. Then you'd be notified of a new PR.
