Thankyou for all your help, it is now working, your syntax was working,
it was just the way I was testing it that wasn't working. The problem is
that our old site www.fa-carling.com has a number of frames, if you
navigated through these then hit reload, it reloaded in the way you
would _want_ i.e. where you had got up to. Then we moved to
www.fa-premier.com and this no longer happened. The only thing I could
put it down to was the ETags and Last-Modified headers, but it doesn't
seem to work anyway. Could it be that apache is ignoring If-None-Match
(not sure if that is right) requests for PHP files and so the ETag
output is not being used anyway?
